Thursday, August 21, 2008 - Clay Shirky argues the internet is taking us down a path from online sharing to online group action. Sharing is encouraging people to form into groups around photos videos and other media but group action, where the group gathers together to take action to cause significant change, is much more rare. Are we going to see significant change through online group action in the future?
